The Website is FINALLY up.
You know, it's been months since I've started working on this website. If you haven't been keeping track, thats since the end of February this year, however I assure you, it was all worth the wait, and you'll come to realize this once you see what I've been doing with the site.
The first thing you're going to notice at this point is only a few of the links in the menu work. Alot of them go nowhere as it stands right now. All I need to do now is add the content, but that will take just a couple of days, as that's the easy part. If you look at the top menu, if you hover over certain items (GAMES WE PLAY for example), the entire website slides down to expose a sub-menu. I did this using a scripting language called AJAX. AJAX is what makes all the little apps and animations on sites like Facebook and MySpace possible, it's a very cool piece of web technology.
If you look on the right, you'll see a new feature to the Honor Soldiers website, called "Vid of the Week". I think that's pretty self explanatory. You'll also notice a sponsor reel, which is done entirely in Javascript. It fades between sponsors in REAL TIME, so you don't have to refresh the page to see it switch.
I need to apologize for taking so long on the site. Between work, more work, and my down time, I haven't had much time. I wasn't even going to publish the site until I had more content, but I went along with it anyway and figured you guys deserved it now. You guys have been a great support, and I thank all of you who didn't bail (f#%k you Kyle and NewYork) on me when things when down hill and I had my accident.
